Canon EOS 40D photocamera: all the same enters the market?

25 July 2007

Though the company officially does not confirm the information about preparation of a product to entering the market, some sources insist that saw the camera in the list of the products having received PictBridge certification. This list has been published on site Camera and Imaging Products Association (CIPA).
At present the information about Canon EOS 40D is absent on CIPA site. It is quite possible, that it was not there at all.
Hypothetical camera Canon EOS 40D has the following features: matrix CMOS with resolution 10,1 Mpixels, size 22,5 x 15 mm, “dust prevention”, serial shooting mode with a speed of five pictures in a second, 2,5-inch screen and image processor DIGIC II.
