Nokia 6555: black stylish clam-shell phone

24 August 2007

Nokia has presented 3G-phone, which combines, according to the press release, “original stylish design and amazing functionality”. In photos Nokia 6555 really looks nice; an analog watch on an external board seems really expensive. The device is intended for WCDMA networks and is made in the clam-shell form-factor.
Though the phone is not “clever” (works on Series 40platform), it has very good multimedia solution - QVGA (240×320 pixels) the screen displays 16 million colors, the camera supports 6x enlargement, functions of a self-portrait and video-recording, and Bluetooth module will allow not only to transfer quickly the data to a computer or other phone, but also to please the music fan with wireless stereomusic (structure A2DP). Nokia 6555 has 30 Mb of own memory, which can be extended with the help of microSD memory cards.
The novelty will be accessible in the next month.
