Sharp has created the most thin LCD-TV in the world

Japanese company Sharp these days has declared the production of the most thin and brightest LCD-TV in the world, informs Reuters.
The diagonal of the new TV’s display makes 52 inches, thickness of a novelty - 0,78 inches, and weight - 55 lbs. For example, the usual LCD-TV with a diagonal in 52 inches from Sharp weighs about 66 lbs, and thickness exceeds 3,5 inches.
It is planned that the thinnest LCD-TV in the world will appear on sale not earlier than 2010.
Today Sharp is the third biggest manufacturer of LCD-TVs in the world. Sony takes the second place and the leading position belongs to Korean company Samsung.
