The robot will park automobiles of inhabitants of New York
14 February 2007The first automated parking for automobiles opens in February in the Chinese block of New York. The new technology gives an opportunity to park 67 automobiles instead of 24 ones on the underground floor of a residential building. The parking occurs the following way: the driver leaves the automobile on a special platform which automatically falls to the bottom section of the garage and transports the automobile to an empty seat with the help of computer management. That is why loading platforms are supplied with the sensors to determine, whether the person has left the automobile. (Some people were entrapped in the mechanical garage in New Jersey in 2004). When the automobile is put on the pallet in a proper way, the driver is ask to leave the automobile.
