Blu-ray: 3 players with 1080p/60 support

Despite of numerous talks that Blu-ray format starts to yield to HD DVD, leading manufacturers of electronics do not become disheartened. Pioneer, Sharp and Sony, which give significant support of this optical disks format, have presented new players.
Novelties have similar and rather attractive characteristics: HDMI 1.3interface, support of 1080p/60 and 1080p/24 (60 and 24 full shots in a second), 7.1-channel sound, and also ability to work with AVCHD, which use technology of the expanded color space x.v. Color (xvYCC). The player from Sharp - BD-HP20U according to promises of the manufacturer downloads film from Blu-ray disk only for 10 seconds that gives it advantage if to compare with such competitors as Sony BDP-S2000ES and Pioneer BDP-95FD (time of downloading equals to a minute). By the way about odds, the player from Sharp costs $550, while players from Sony and Pioneer cost approximately twice more expensive $1300 and $1000 correspondingly. Sales of new players start in the beginning of October.
