HP iPAQ 900/914 : 3 Mp communicator/navigator with the QWERTY-keyboard
17 September 2007iPAQ Business Messenger communicator line will consist of 2 models: HP iPAQ 914 and 910, made in the form-factor of a monoblock with the QWERTY-keyboard and the touch display in landscape orientation. We should note that the “wide” screen finds more and more popularity in the class of business-devices. The main field of activity of new iPAQ will be work with texts and e-mail.
Some information about novelties has already got in the network, but, if to speak about characteristics, they are absolutely identical to parameters of HP iPAQ 600/614 Business Navigator. The same productive processor Marvell PXA270 with clock frequency in 520 MHz, the same communication opportunities (Wi-Fi b/g, Bluetooth 2.0+EDR), GPS-receiver and 3 Mp camera. The only difference is in capacities of accumulators (1840 against 1590 mAh), sizes (113Ñ…64Ñ…16 mm, weight - 5,1500 oz), and the sizes of screens (2,46 â€? touch TFT display with resolution 320×240 pixels).
HP iPAQ 900/914 is positioned as convenient means for communication and entertainments. The display is small, and for work with the big documents it will hardly suit. On the other hand, the powerful processor means comfortable navigation, support of “heavy” programs and reproduction of films in comprehensible quality.
