27 September 2007Finnish company Nokia has presented new mobile phone Nokia 6301 which features the UMA support (Unlicensed Mobile Access). Thanking to UMA Nokia 6301’s owner can instantly change GSM network into WLAN for continuation of work already in a wireless computer network. Using WLAN, the user can call on VoIP system of voice telephony. Besides he can be the true unit of a computer network.
Nokia 6301 is a monoblock in the steel case in weight of approximately 3,3 oz and thickness less than 0,5 in. The device is sold together with dock-station Desk Stand DT-23 to hold the battery constantly charged during the work in WLAN network.
