Samsung has produced cell phone with two SIM-cards

Samsung has presented phone DuoS (D880) which can work with two SIM-cards simultaneously.

Both cards can be used simultaneously for receiving and making calls, sending of text messages. At the same time the user can choose at any moment, which from 2 SIM-cards to use.

Main feature of Samsung DuoS (D880), which favorably distinguishes it from competing models, is the automatic configuration of profiles WAP/MMS/Email. After switching between SIM-cards all profiles of the corresponding operator are changed automatically, and do not demand from the user any additional actions, that is the device is ready at once to WAP/Internet-access, checking of mail, conversation and so on.

The interface of the phone has also undergone some changes for more convenient work with two SIM-cards. Each card can be given appropriate melody - both for calls, and for text messages. In case of the missed calles the name of the SIM-card is also displayed in the information about a call.

The resource of Samsung DuoS (D880)’s accumulator is increased up to 1200 mAh, as the frequent use of two transmitters increases the consumed charge, and the time of an independent work of the device plays the vital role for the user.

This unique phone will go in sale at the end of October, 2007 on an approximate retail price of 700 dollars.
