New eight-color photoprinter A3 + from Epson

Epson represents a new photoprinter - Stylus Photo R1900, with new technology of image processing and economic system of separate cartridges Epson UltraChrome Hi-Gloss2.

Besides blue, purple and yellow inks, UltraChrome Hi-Gloss2 contain matte black, photo black, red and orange cartridges, and also a cartridge with colorless glossy polymer - that is eight colors. It provides wider color scope, smoother tonal transitions and natural colors that is very important, for example, at a printing of portraits - to transfer shades of a human skin. Colorless glossy polymer is needed for additional optimization of smooth and glazed photos.

One of Epson Stylus Photo R1900’s features is support of various carriers. The printer prints on a glossy, matte and art paper both in sheets, and in rolls. It supports printing on paper of various formats and on disks’ surface. High quality is provided by the variable size of drops and resolution up to 5760 x 1440 points on inch.
