Rumor: iPhone 2 is almost ready
24 December 2007Next year Apple plans to put on the market two new iPhones. Predictably, first phone will appear at the beginning of 2008 and will enjoy the larger memory. The next model will be put on the market in the II half of the year. According to analysts, this version can externally differ from two previous and, probably, will support 3G. Besides iPhone, vendor prepares updating of Apple TV, computers and LCD-monitors.
Rumors about the second version of an “apple” mobile phone go on the Internet already for a long time. Recently the information about an updated phone has been made public by the main executive director of AT &&T Randall Stephenson. At the end of November during a meeting in Santa Clara, California, he has told about production of 3G-supported iPhone. The nominal working time in GSM networks makes 8 hours, but, as it is known, third generation networks are more gluttonous.
3G support gives the user of a phone much faster access to the Network, provided corresponding service of the operator. In experts’ opinion, absence of 3G-functionality is one of a few reasons why the European sales of a mobile phone strongly lag behind American ones.
Within the next year the company is also going to update all Mac line.
