MWg presents new communicators with GPS
22 January 2008Company Mobile and Wireless Group (MWg), created in 2007 on the basis of Telefonica O2’s Asian branch, has presented two new Windows Mobile-controlled communicators - models Atom V and Zinc II, informs The Register.
Atom V has processor XScale with frequency in 624 MHz. The device is intended for work in three or four-range networks GSM/GPRS, supports HSDPA and 802.11b/g. The size of the touch screen is 2,8 inches. Main Atom V’s feature is built - in module of GPS-navigation on SiRF Star III chip.
Model Zinc II has the same communication opportunities, including GPS. Moreover, Zinc II is equipped with a sliding keyboard with a traditional layout.
Both gadgets will be retailed by British Expansys. Cost of communicators is $720 and $600 respectively.
