Player Slacker has come into the market

The player works jointly with the Internet - portal Slacker.com. The last is the interactive network radio station, which allows not only to receive signal, but also to form independently its content. Service has been launched last March, since then it could be used through a web - browser.

Slacker is equipped with 4-inch LCD-display, USB-interface and Wi-Fi support. The device is available in three variants with different memory size. 2 GB model can store 15 stations (about 1500 tracks) while the user have 500 MB for personal files. The price - $200. The model with 4 GB can store to 2500 songs and offers 1,5 GB to the user’s needs. The price - $250. Third and the last model at the price of $300 has 8 GB – 4 from them to personal files. Synchronization is made through the wireless connection.

For the time being Slacker works only in the USA. In the future developers promise to extend “range of coverage”, and also to put out new devices, for example, for installation in automobiles. Such players will receive a signal through the satellite.
