Ferrari for 20 thousand euro: counterfeit luxury-cars
31 March 2008Each reach person feels the minutes of indignation in occasion of “exclusive products mass production”, or, roughly speaking, fakes. Especially jealously women concern to such things, whose handbag “haute couture” suddenly appears in cheap shops.
Our advice concerns those, who managed to become the owner of Ferrari. And are you sure that your smart sports car is really a child of the glorified Italian company? Or will not the knowing person convict you of shameful possession of fake? Our advice is, certainly, more comic, but each joke, has a part of truth.
It is really surprising, but manufacture of fakes has reached a tremendous level. So, the Italian police has recently arrested the group of swindlers, trading artificial Ferrari cars. Business, in which at least 15 people were involved, has been constructed on quite clear desire of not too rich Italians to drive about at the wheel smart car.
Fake Ferrari gathered from different ready parts, some of which really belonged to Ferrari. The majority of parts were counterfeit, but they were executed, according to policemen, with greater skill. Certainly, these were not Ferrari’s characteristics; however, outside of the car it was practically impossible to distinguish it from original.
All cars were forged under classical models Ferrari, and manufacture of some of them has ended in 80th years. The buyer, naturally, knew what car he was buying: the buyer came to “office” and paid only 20 thousand euro and the automobile best seller appeared at buyer’s garage.
After detection of underground activity of swindlers the Italian policemen have already confiscated 21 cars, and 14 cars have been already sold.
