DoCoMo: gadget, which is transferring smells
15 April 2008It looks like, time, when the techniques replaces alive dialogue. Scientists have promoted to the decision of one more problem of creation of the maximal presence. Fans of all new and unusual can exult - Japanese mobile phone, capable to transfer smells, has been finally created.
Japanese telecommunication company NTT Communications has declared about its intention of carrying out of tests of new service for mobile phones under the name «Fragrant mobile dialogue».
Owing to new service it will be possible to feel smells transferred by means of the special device, which, after acceptance of a special signal on phone, will distribute aroma in all premise.
The device of aromas transportation, applied to mobile phones NTT DoCoMo, looks as a small steel shaker. It has necessary components, which are forming various smells. During conversation users can send each other special codes, which will be transferred by means of infra-red port from the device by the portable “generator”, which is responsible for creating a fragrance.
«Mobile fragrant dialogue» is created on the basis of Fragrant dialogue technology - the service, offering transfer of smells through house computers. The similar project successfully exists in Japan since 2005.
