10 August 2008Company Lenovo has informed on release on the market of the so-called «netbooks» with new model IdeaPad S10. On Lenovo’s plan, these thin and extremely compact notebooks can become both fine addition to a house computer, and the first computer for beginning users. Model IdeaPad S10 allows to carry out elementary operations, for example, to work in Internet, to check and send mail, to listen to music, to start other base appendices. At thickness about an inch and weight less than one kg the new model IdeaPad S10 has attractive design and wide color scale.
For the maximal convenience the keyboard of model is on 15 % less than the full-function keyboard of standard notebook.
Energy-keeping technology allows prolonging considerably time of independent work in comparison with traditional screens.
For Internet access netbooks are equipped with WiFi, and Express Card allows using the device for work with mobile broadband communication networks. As mobile computers are the integral means of dialogue, IdeaPad S10, is equipped by all necessary for it tools: built in the web-chamber can be used for the video dialogue, two USB ports and multi-card reader, supporting 4 formats of cards, music and video. Netbook IdeaPad S10 is equipped with reestablished operational system Microsoft Windows XP.
