Google Android

26 September 2008

As it has become known, soon in New Yorkmobile operator T-Mobile will present mobile phone T-Mobile G1, which will become first device, equipped Google Android system.
Meantime press-release images and technical characteristics of new gadget, which yet have no official acknowledgement, have been placed in the Network.
In particular, it became known, that T-Mobile G1 is capable to accept signals of 2G and 3,5G networks. For work presence of an account in post service Gmail is required. Google Maps, Gmail, YouTube, Calendar are established, Google Talk are installed. The device has also Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, 3,1 megapixel camera. The maximal volume of a card of memory (the format is not known) makes 8 Gigabyte.
Meanwhile, phone will, probably, cease to be the desired device for some users at least for two reasons - the camera is not capable to write down video, and Bluetooth does not convert audio signal into stereo (because it has no A2DP).
