Xbox 360 will fall in price up to $200
20 October 2008Corporation Microsoft has officially declared about the future decrease in the recommended retail cost of all versions Xbox 360 in the American market.
As it has been informed in the press release Since September, 5th, the price of Xbox 360 Elite will make $400, the price of Xbox 360 Premium with a hard disk 60 Gbyte will make $300 and versions Arcade - $200.
Xbox 360 Arcade is the cheapest version of prefix from Microsoft. It has no hard disk. Next on price are the 60 Gbyte and 120 Gbyte “elite” Xbox. “Elite” version of Xbox is issued in the black case. At the moment the price for it makes $280, $350 and $450 accordingly.
Company Microsoft reduces cost of Xbox any more first time. The last decrease in March, 2008, has been mentioned not only at the American, but also at the European and Asian markets.
By means of prices reduction the corporation tries to increase sales of the console and to repeat success of Sony PlayStation 2.
