Micro Four Thirds by Olympus
11 June 2009Last year it has become known that company Olympus will present the digital camera executed in new Micro Four Thirds standard. Now it became known, that its announcement will take place on June, 16th.
The main feature standard of Micro Four Thirds supports replaceable objectives. It considerably raises competitive ability of such cameras. Now photographers can independently choose more shooting modes.
The prototype of camera of Micro Four Thirds standard carried name E-P1, but the manufacturer has for some reasons decided to rename it in E-3. this device is executed in retrodesign: buttons of management and fastening for flash are located from above cases. Now it is known, that Olympus E-3 is equipped with replaceable objective with the fixed 17 mm focal length and f/2 diaphragm, sensor control similar to Panasonic Lumix G1, and duster.
