Chinese invented phone on solar battery

At Hanover exhibition CeBIT well-known Chinese company HTW Electronics has presented the project of the cellular telephone S116, which works from a solar energy.
The manufacturer assures that if to keep the phone on the direct sunlight for 40 minutes, charging of a battery will be enough for 20-25 minutes of conversation. Also the manufacturer informs that the light of five candles will be enough for the work of a novelty.
HTW S116 will be equipped with 1,3-Mpixel camera, a slot for memory cards and the QVGA-screen with the resolution 320Ñ…240. The upper panel of the Chinese phone is covered with a thin layer of solar elements which charge the internal lithium - ionic battery.
The phone will appear on sale on territory of China in April, 2007. About the cost of a novelty nothing is known yet.
