Orca Extreme: 17 ” SLI-laptop on Windows Vista
11 April 2007The CompAmerica Internet - shop started to sell “powerful�? laptop Orca Extreme. Laptop it is packaged with Intel Core 2 Duo processors, user can choose between Е6700 (2,66 GHz) and Extreme X6800 (2,93 GHz).
Video in laptop is represented by two cards NVIDIA GeForce Go 7950GT, 512 Mb GDDR3 in everyone. The 17-inch display has passed Microsoft certification for guaranteed work with Windows Vista. However there will be any unexpected things - CompAmerica has only had an opportunity to draw buyer’s attention by a fashionable trade mark logotype.
Besides already common Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and 1,3-Мp camera for videoconferences, laptop has ТV-tuner. 200 GB hard disk is intended for data storage.
The built - in optical drive didn’t justify hopes – it is just usual DVD-RW, instead of fresh HD-DVD or Blu-ray. However, the price is rather high - is necessary to plank out $2600, and it is only for the initial configuration.
