Samsung`s memory-cards has reached 8GB

South-Korean company Samsung has declared creation of a 8 GB microSD memory-card - which, according to the developers, is enough for storage of 2000 sound recordings in MP3format, 4000 pictures or five DVD-quality films.
As it is known, nowadays SD cards are widely used in portable electronics.
The tiny version of microSD-cards has hold return compatibility with them, i.e. can be used instead of SD under condition of an adapter usage, but its sizes are very tiny, that makes such card especially suitable for multimedia phones and smart phones.
Samsung developers declare that new Samsung card reading speed makes 16 Mb/s, and recording - 6 Mb/s. And it means that the novelty surpasses requirements of Speed Class 4 SDHC (Secure Digital High Capacity).
Analytics predict that by 2010 8 GB volume memory-cards will make a basis of the market by a quantity of the sold products.
