Samsung has created first-ever 30-nanometer flesh-memory module
26 October 2007Developers from Samsung have managed to create the first 30-nanometer flesh-memory module with cells capacity in 8GB, informs TG Daily.
The novelty is Multi Level Cell (MLC) based which consists in use of multilevel cells for data storage.

Sony produces second generation Blu-ray-drive
19 October 2007Sonу Electronics has announced computer Blu-ray-drive of second generation BWU-200S, able to record BD-R disks on 4х speed and DVD±R on 16x speed. The device records BD-R twice faster, than drives of the last generation, - burning of 50-GB Blu-ray-disk takes about 45 minutes.

Hitachi has developed 100 GB Blu-ray-disk
10 October 2007The Japanese manufacturer of electronics, Hitachi has informed about the development of four-layer Blu-ray-disk, containing 100 GB that is twice higher than capacity of the standard drive, informs PCPRO.co.uk.
